Introduction

I am a teacher at Barker College and I am reading Spies by Michael Frayn with a group of 14-year-old students. My pupils study English as a second language and read this book as part of their preparation for IGCSE. Their  preparation takes two years, so they will sit for the exam in 2017. 

This class blog aims to summarise and preserve important moments of our first reading, so that we can easily go back to them when we revise the book next year. It will reflect some of the hypothesis, discussions, and ideas that crop up in class as we make progress with the novel.

We´ve made it public in the hope that other students who are reading the same book may also find it useful.
